Specialization and research interests:
Archaeologist, adjunct at the Institute of Mediterranean and Oriental Culture, Polish Academy of Sciences.
His main field of research is South East Arabian archaeology (modern day Oman and UAE), mainly from the Early Bronze Age to the Late Iron Age. Among his main interests are the dynamics of human-environment interaction, with a focus on water management; intra- and interregional connections; ancient metallurgy.
He also carries out research on northern Italian Bronze and Iron Age.
Academic activity:
Holder of a PhD degree obtained from the University of Pisa (Italy) and Specialist in Archaeology (Graduate School in Archaeology, University of Bologna – Italy). MSc in Science and Conservation of materials for Cultural Heritage (University of Bologna and CNR-Istec Faenza – Italy).
