Specialization and research interests:
Archaeology of Greece, Rome and the Near East during Hellenistic and Roman period, especially Roman pottery in the eastern Mediterranean.

 

Academic activity:

A graduate of the Institute of Archaeology at the Warsaw University. Since 2006 she has been participating in the excavations of the Polish Archaeological Mission at Nea Paphos (Cyprus), directed by Dr. H. Meyza, where she works on tableware and kitchen ware pottery of the Roman period and deals with the drawing documentation. In 2011-2013 she documented the pottery material of the Berenice Mission (Egypt), and from 2014 she has been taking part in the work at site of Akrai (Sicily), carried on by Polish-Italian Mission.

In 2006 she received 10-months library scholarshipin Cairo, and in 2011 documentary scholarship of Prof. Kazimierz Michalowski, awarded by the Ministry of Science and Higher Education.

She is working on a doctoral dissertation entitled "Earthquakes in Nea Paphos in the early Roman period as seen from the kitchen (Clay pots for heat treatment of foods from excavations of the University of Warsaw)."
