Specialization and research interests:

Archaeology of Pharaonic Egypt; burial ritual in the Saqqara necropolis during the Ptolemeic-Roman period.

 

Academic activity:

Since 1999 she has been taking part in the excavations carried on by the Polish-Egyptian Archaeological Mission in Saqqara (exploration, burial documentation and geodesic measurements on the site).

Between 2002-2005 she processed the mission’s photographic documentation. She also took part in the process of writing and editing the subsequent volumes of the “Saqqara” series.

She is working on the doctoral dissertation entitled “Topography of the Necropolises in Saqqara during the rule of the Ptolemies and Roman Emperors. Archaeological Sources.”

She is a member of the International Association of Egyptologists.

She has also an archivist education (internship in the Central Archives of Historical Records, The State Archive of the Capital City of Warsaw and the Office of the Prime Minister Archive).
