Researcher in the Institute of Mediterranean and Oriental Cultures PAS since 2011.
Specialization and research interests:
Archaeology of the Middle East in the Bronze Age; culture, religion and history of Anatolia in the 2nd century BC; Anatolia, Syria and Mesopotamia’s folk culture during the Bronze Age, with the focus on minute figural arts.
Academic activity:
Since 2002 he has been participating in the Polish-Syrian archaeological excavations on the Tell Arbid site in Syria. Since 2008 he has been a member of the Polish expedition conducting excavations in Kuwait.
In 2011 he submitted a doctoral dissertation at the History Department of the Warsaw University, entitled “Cultural interactions in Kanesh (Kültepe) during the period of Assyrian colonies in the light of archaeological sources.”
