Library’s collections has been created in 1962. Since that date it developed systematically and became an important tool for the research on the development of Asian, African and Latin American countries. All Polish institutions engaged in exploring problems of the developing countries use this book collection. There are app. 15 thousand of book volumes and 2,5 thousand periodicals. In 2010, 14 specialist foreign periodicals were subscribed. The exchange with over 30 foreign institutions, is systematically enriching this collection.
