- An exhibition of Johannes Weninger's paintings - a German-American artist, specializing in portraits and works related to cultural heritage. His latest works are inspired by the history of Egypt. The exhibition will be accompanied by a lecture focused on the discovery of Tutankhamun's tomb.
- Ceramic workshops for everyone (in English): „In the footsteps of the ancient potters” The technological approach is a quite recent methodology used to reconstruct the manufacturing processes used to produce objects. It lays on the concept that the techniques of making objects are transmitted from generation to generation, and the reconstruction of these traditions helps to better understand ancient societies. During the workshop, we will see how this method works and how the materials are analyzed, and we will test the various techniques for ceramic production such as pinching, coiling, and moulding.
- Workshop for youth and adults: "Futuristic travels around Africa - culture and art". A multimedia presentation combined with a workshop on the culture and art of Sub-Saharan African societies in a futuristic context. In the workshop part, we will decorate bags with motifs of African futurism.
- Lecture accompanied by an exhibition of artefacts from private collections: "Catching the last rays of the setting sun - the culture of the Ababds of the Eastern Desert". An interactive show of photos, music and film combined with a presentation of artefacts related to the Ababds, their culture and customs.
